Ignorance is Bliss?

RP Movement is about showing the world that the principles of Jesus the Christ are relevant and practical. We that believe in biblical study have to continue and encourage others (especially young in the faith) to incorporate these principles into our lifestyles. There is a generation coming up that believes what ever feels good to me is o.k. This mindset isn’t new and we should seek the Lord on how we can effectively display an alternate, righteous view. On the Couch with Leah Smith

RPM- So tell us a your name and where are you from?

My name is Leah Smith. I’m from Philadelphia, PA!…The greatest city in the world….?

RPM- Briefly describe how your childhood was growing up.

I grew up in a Christian household. My mother was, and still is, an elementary school teacher. My father, when I was coming up, was a seminary student and social worker. Both of my parents were very active in ministry at church and in our local community. I always went to tiny little hole-in-the-wall private schools. My elementary school, St. Barnabas Episcopal, played a huge role in my childhood. I learned to love music, reading, and writing there. I have an older sister and younger brother that I grew up with!

On the couch with: PJ Morton

RPM- Welcome to RP Movement.net, start off by telling us a your name and where are you from?
PJ- Pj Morton. From new Orleans originally but been in Atl for 10 yrs.

RPM- So what was life like for young PJ Morton?
PJ- Well I was a preacher’s kid so LOTS of church, but that also meant lots of MUSIC. I enjoyed my childhood very much. Very tight family.

RPM- That’s what’s up! Speak on the changes that have taken place in your life?
PJ- Well change is inevitable. I just try to adapt and adjust.

RPM- What obstacles have you faced on your journey to success?
PJ- Probably remaining myself and being accepted on a mass scale at the same time. Seems like anyone who gets to the top has to somewhat sacrifice themselves, but I just can’t..

RPM- Now here on RPM we believe that the people that are in your camp makes a difference in how you achieve your goals, do you think that’s true?

PJ- Most definitely. I always pride myself on having a strong team. When someone starts to take the team down it’s time to move on.

RPM- What advice would you give to someone trying to come up like you?
PJ-Be exactly who you are designed to be and no one else. No one can be a better original of yourself than you.

RPM- With the economy in a restructure setting, what adjustments have you made to ensure that you stay successful?
PJ- Well we’ve always balled on a budget.. Lol. The recession has seemed to be helpful to me because I’ve never required much. it’s the people who have required a lot that having the problems.

RPM- Ok.. so what can we expect from you in the near future or present?
PJ- Well I have book coming out this fall called ‘why can’t I sing about love?’ talking about how the church itself has separated sacred music from secular and not God. Also a new record called ’son of a preacherman’ coming maybe at the top of 2010.

RPM- I have to ask, where did your influence come from?
PJ- My father, stevie wonder, James Taylor, prince, beatles.

RPM- Finally, Why should anyone passing through RPM take time to get to know you better?
PJ-I’m one of the few originals left!

RPM- How can our audience and readers get in touch with you or get updates from you? (i.e.twitter, facebook. etc…)
PJ- twitter.com/thepjmorton, Myspace.com/pjmorton and pjmortononline.com

RPM- We thank you for your time in giving us this interview.. any last statements?
PJ- My pleasure. Support great music that moves you…

PJ Morton

One on One with Claude Deuce

Claude Deuce

Claude Deuce

RPM- Glad to have you here on FlyMoguls.com, let’s start with you telling us a your name and where are you from?

CD- My name is Claude L. Harris Jr., born and raised in Augusta Ga.

RPM- We want to start at the root of things..how was your childhood growing up?

CD- Childhood was filled w/ great memories. Alot of musical memories…because my mom can really sing and would always sing around the house. My sister and i just followed suit!

RPM- Wow that’s amazing! I see talent runs in the family.

RPM-Tell us about some of the changes that success has brought to your life.

CD- There have been alot of changes in my life and i’m truly grateful for them… i have met alot of awesome people that i’ve been able to learn from and call friend. When there are changes in your life, sometimes the people around you change as well. So just be ready!

RPM- What have you found to be the greatest hurdle that you have faced on your journey to success?

CD- The greatest hurdle on this journey to success is SELF! You have to condition your mind for greatness. Because I’m sold out to Jesus, i rely totally on guidance from the Father! When i lean to my own understanding, that’s when problems can overtake me!

RPM- Now here on Fly Moguls we have a belief that who you surround yourself with makes a difference in how you achieve your goals, was there a time where you had to cut some people loose for the good of your career?

CD- Yes, there’s always something you have to “give up” or “lose” when you’re being elevated. They’re just like rocket boosters. When a rocket launches, the boosters will fall off as the rocket reaches certain elevations because the boosters have only one purpose. To help boost the rocket.

RPM- People always look for a quick fix to success, we all know that it never really happens like that. What advice would you give to someone trying to come up like you?

CD- Research your field/craft/passion! Knowledge is extremely powerful!

RPM- With the economy in a restructure setting, what adjustments have you made to ensure that you stay successful?

CD- I chose not to participate in the recession. I’m just so focused on my duties that God has continued to prosper my company!

RPM- That’s so great to hear. If you need someone to help you spend it we can help you here at Fly Moguls… But back to things..what can we expect from you in the near future or present?

CD- Well, i have the album “The Young Elder” dropping in stores everywhere on July 14th! The video for the single ” It Ain’t Over” is in rotation on Gospel Music Channel and i’m working on a mixtape for all of the artists currently rocking the Livin’ It Brand! Livin’ It Productions, Inc. is my production label!

RPM- I have to ask, Who are your 5 greatest influences?

CD- 5 greatest influences are Jesus Christ, Claude Harris, Sr., Regina Harris, David Karangu and anyone doing it BIG on a positive level!

RPM- Finally, Why should anyone passing through Fly Moguls.com take time to get to know you better?

CD- I’m just a young man on the move for the Kingdom of Light! I’m a tastemaker, history maker and a world shaker! Get to know me! :-)

RPM-How can our audience and readers get in touch with you or get updates from you? (i.e. twitter, facebook. etc…), We thank you for your time in giving us this interview.. any last statements?

CD- I’d like to thank Flymoguls.com for this opportunity to share a little bit about myself.
Feel free to find Claude Deuce on facebook, on myspace (www.myspace.com/claudedeuce) and twitter (www.twitter.com/claudedeuce).
