Here is a clip with Michael, his brothers, and Bill Cosby. He was such an inspiration and his gift to entertain was evident even as a boy. His gift also lines up with a biblical scripture. Proverbs 18:16 (New King James Version), “A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.” Michael disciplined himself to develop his gift to the peak of its maturity, it made room for him in all facets of life and brought him before many great individuals. It brought him fame, fortune and great opportunities, but it brought a lot of unwanted baggage too.
The unwanted baggage that a gift can have tagging along with it is the aspect we don’t talk about as we all strive to peak at our gifts. Michael is a great example of our own struggles with the greatest gift of all, LIFE. It’s funny how we get praise for aspects of our lives, but rarely does one get applauded for living life at its peak. In the passing of a legend I ask you to strive to go at your entire LIFE like Michael did as an entertainer. Take the stage of life and command it. Discipline yourself to hit the wide range of life’s notes. Let your passion for life burn so bright that it spans decades like a successful career.
I invite you to allow Jesus to be your life coach. I invite you to develop a relationship with a great manager called Holy Spirit. I invite you to sign your life on the contract called the bible and Give God a Chance. Enjoy this vintage clip!
